Display all Columns of a list

Aug 14, 2007 at 3:13 PM
Hi,

is it possible to display all columns of a list via the ECQWP, independent of the columns in the list ?
i search for a solution to display all columns of lists via a content query web part in all sites without
defining the displaying columns via xslt

thanx

I think you can do this with the code in the xslt-file:
<xsl:for-each select="@*">
Column:<xsl:value-of select="name()" /> :
<br/>
</xsl:for-each>

I am afraid the content query web part requires you to specify what fields you want. I guess, with the ECQWP, we can change the code when the web part is connected to a specific list (and not doing an aggregation) and get all the fields automatically. You will still have to build the XSLT to show the fields (as Woosterhof explained)

Is that what you are looking for?

Where would this be changed in the xslt file? I'd like to add a couple more columns to view.
